The Subaru Outback has been the vehicle of choice for busy families living around Akron, GA for many years. The new 2022 Outback adds a new Wilderness trim level that is meant to help adventurous drivers go even further. If you are after a vehicle that you can count on to provide exhilarating performance and the latest in technology features, the 2022 Subaru Outback is right for you, and you can find it here at Serra Subaru!

Performance Overview of the 2022 Outback

As you would expect, the 2022 Outback comes standard with all-wheel drive. For the base engine, Subaru goes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that has an output of 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission, and hill descent control is a standard feature. If you choose an Outback XT model, your vehicle will be powered by a turbo 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. It creates 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque.

That engine is also found underneath the hood of the new Wilderness trim level. This version of the Outback also has a raised suspension to give you increased ground clearance, plus extra skid plates to protect the vehicle when the roads get rough. All-terrain tires come standard for the Outback Wilderness as well.

Outback Interior: Upscale, Yet Practical

The 2022 Outback comes standard with automatic climate control and dual 7-inch touchscreens. By stepping up to the Premium trim level or higher, you unlock features like a power-adjustable driver’s seat and heated front seats to keep you comfortable. Both rows of seating inside the Outback offer generous leg and headroom, and you will find that the seats are supportive even for long journeys out of Akron, GA. If you are hauling gear rather than your passengers, there are up to 75.7 cubic feet of cargo space in the back of the Outback.

Outback Exterior: Rugged and Stylish

Alloy wheels are standard for every 2022 Outback, including the base model. The same is true of brilliant LED headlights and a roof rack with integrated crossbars. Moving to a higher trim level will mean adding features like LED fog lights, tinted rear windows and heated side mirrors with a power-folding feature. The Wilderness trim level stands out from the rest of the lineup with black badging and copper trim accents.
